Since 2016, Zist Baspar Kian has become the one and only company that produces carbomer based on water.
Meanwhile, all carbomer manufacturing companies have been using the method of synthesizing polyacrylic acid with organic matter such as toluene, benzene, etc. until now.
A general method for the synthesis of carbomer is to use toluene or benzene as a solvent. These solvents have high toxicity and since carbomer is mostly used in cosmetic and skin care products, it is necessary to remove and separate these toxic substances.
However, after this process, carbomer becomes dry. Due to the fact that large pieces of carbomer are difficult to dissolve in water, it is necessary to convert carbomer into micronized powders for it to dissolve in water.
This type of carbomer dissolves between 100 to 250 times in water. Since water-based synthetic carbomer contains 90% water, and contains no toxic substance in its synthesis, it does not need to be dried and powdered. This will reduce the time and costs involved.
Health License
Zist Bispar Kian Company, by obtaining a health license established and operating by the Ministry of Health, Treatment and Medical Education, is producing and packaging the carbomer produced by the factory of this complex.
Operation License
This company has an exploitation license in the field of mass production of carbomer from the Ministry of Mining Industry and Trade of the Islamic Republic of Iran and is able to produce up to 1200 tons of carbapol per year and offer it to esteemed customers.
